Will Jerry Lee play again?

You were the one who started provoking. Instead of admitting your fault, you try to blame others and even blatantly lie.

And regarding Jerry, it was made clear that a full recovery could take up to one year and that's the way it is. That question in the thread name is therefore completely pointless to start with.

Perhaps we'll meet up again one day and you can call me stupid to my face, instead of over the internet.

Don't take it serious Richard but reading things said by Linda and Judith can't be taken seriously.

Jerry wishes his fans a Happy Thanksgiving via video message on Facebook (November 27th 2019)! Looks and sounds good! He says himself that he is "doing pretty good"!

Thank you Guilherme.

He comes across clear minded, but looks old and frail.

Yes, but the same as two years ago. He never looks particularly well in those home videos.

He is also old and frail when he walks on stage, but once seated at the piano becomes alive again. It is fascinating to watch.

However he is clear minded and comes across as happy and relatively healthy.

Well, I am pretty sure they are telling the truth.

That claim that his hands are not alright is totally false by the way.

Where did Paul get his info from them?

I hope you're right Wolfie, but as none of us have seen/heard him play piano since the stroke we can't be certain.

I have wondered where Richard's bitterness comes from. Now this explains a lot:

"The data shows that Wolverhampton is the least prosperous part of the UK because its citizens report the lowest levels of satisfaction with their lives in the whole country."

I fear he has not recovered his playing ability in at least one hand. The way he rests his left arm in the recent video reminds me of my father in-law after his stroke last year. There is a big difference between regaining some grip and movement compared to the extent of recovery necessary to play the keys. But even a disability afflicting one hand does not stop pianists - I saw Oscar Peterson post stroke and he had very limited left-hand but an undiminished right hand!

You are wrong, Chris. He is alright. He has been resting his arm like this for many years now. It looks strange, yes, but let's not forget he is suffering from arthritis.
