If you write something you've get comments to correct you and it looks like there is nothing negative allowed on this forum either.
Yes, I would love to see my old buddie Peter back on this forum but then again people would almost immediatly start criticise him.
Lets face the fact, I was against the fireballmail on line and got the whole world over me but where are they these days
Miss also Phil Davies, come on back boys and start laughing again.
Well here I am! I have no intention of being here too much now, simply because I'm not the Jerry Lee Lewis fan I used to be. I still like much of his music, but only in the context of a "casual" fan. In other words I view him as
one of the greatest artists from the 50s (along with around a dozen others) instead of
the greatest. Also, my musical tastes have both widened & softened, so "pop" music from various decades seems to be what I listen to the most these days. I'm also more of an Anglophile: my current playlist includes Showaddywaddy (R.I.P. Buddy Gask), Cilla Black, Hot Chocolate, The Hollies & Mary Hopkin.
Another
big change in my attitude is that I much prefer Jerry in the studio to live! I used to think he was amazing live & (often) less so in the studio, but now (although I admire the power & passion during his peak years) I've come to the conclusion that he's always been sloppy & under-rehearsed on stage, often performing just rough approximations of his studio gems.
Keep shakin', twistin', movin'!
Peter C.
