A 1950s icon indeed. Remember the 'Tony Curtis haircut' so popular in that decade? Though sadly, in his last years, such a request of a barber would have led to the modern-day shaved head look.

I most remember him with Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe in 'Some Like It Hot'

I am saddened to hear this.

There was a thing on PerezHilton.com earlier this year where he had released a statement saying he had hoped to return to acting.
