J.W. Whitten

A friend of mine (John Pearce) phoned J.W. Whitten last night, and he (Whitten) said he's still very much involved with Jerry. They both agreed to bring Lee in because Jerry doesn't see much of him, but Whitten is still likely to help out at future shows.

Good to hear he's still involved, he didn't deserve being fired after all those years.

Apparently he wasn't even fired. He agreed to let Lee help out more, that's all. Of course, none of them have much work to do with Jerry's current "schedule".

Exactly like Judith explained in a comment on Facebook. JW being pushed aside was an assumption quickly made by some...
