I'm thinking about Mystery Train, Toronto '69.

I adore Kenny's fiddle throughout "Early Morning Rain" from the London studio sessions. This was a version I used to hate in my younger days and have only recently come to enjoy it.

my favourite part is definately the bow ! :) but seriously folks..... Early Morning Rain was great - there's an outtake Peter C had back in the day with terrific piano too if i remember; of course Georgia Brown as well; Folsom Prison from Killer Counrty was also awesome - he always added to a track when playing fiddle.

For 'Sweet Georgia Brown', 'Early Morning Rain' and 'Folsom Prison Blues' I agree, LFM I don't like at all, sorry, but my favourite is 'Over the Rainbow' in almost every version...

Kenny's fiddle solo was always the highlight of this song and also 'C.C. Rider' when performed live (at least for me), and hasn't been the same since Kenny stopped using his fiddle on stage in early 1989.

Blame Jerry. He's the one who told Kenny to stop. Probably jealousy, as he didn't want to feel upstaged (the same with stopping Kenny from performing 'Honky Tonkin'' after the "20 Years Overnight" album was released in 1986 and same reason why he won't let B.B. perform his big hit 'Let It All Hang Out' and why he won't perform duets with Linda onstage etc....).

I just looked again DVD The Story of Rock and Roll and I´m of the same opinion. And on that song Jerry plays -- guitar.
