I haven,t seen any post from him since then so if you by that mean his behaved your right.
On the other forum i haven,t seen anyone that active as him since you left there.
But in my opinion it was a shame that he vas banned here. 8)

I agree. Don't know why some people hate him that much. What has he done except posing on a hundred pictures with JLL that upset people that much?

well, I said as much at the time - don't remember anyone else sticking up for him.
having said that, why would he come back ? I know it's tradition that people who say they are leaving in a strop, return a week later as if nothing has happened , but why would you want to re-join a group that kicked you out, or give you warnings about what you can say & do in future - outside of the normal T&Cs that apply to everyone ?

well, I'm not sure we're in total agreement on this regaridng Tex..... that aside I don't think Kay singled you out for anything outside her normal T&Cs - although you might not agree with them - & I can't help thinking on Kay's forum you would have completed the word and not used *** :)..... finally , are the expert, iggyberry, someotheroddnames, etc still lurkers there ?? only kidding

I can assure you that I haven't seen that forum in many years, and didn't even realise it was still running until Henry mentioned it earlier.

I have noticed though that whenever Wolfgang or myself have left forums there's always been several people pleading with us to return. I don't see the same happening with Johannes, so maybe our (mine & Wolfie's) contributions are a little more appreciated than some people's (having said that I wish Andrew would return & Perky would post more!).

surely you knew it was still running ? part of your spat with Tex was regarding mis-quoting Folke's comments on there - as well as the frequent other references to Kay & her forum here .

Nope. I never read Johanne's messages properly.

Thanks Tore! Sometimes this forum is a bit hard to understand. At a certain point there's kind of an online fight, than the problem is solved and when it's all peace and harmony for some weeks it seems some people are missing the daily fights and strange discussions that caused all the troublue, and just start to drop some one-liners that have nothing to do with the subject but that will for sure start new discussions that again have nothing to do with the subject. Maybe start a topic for this in the off-topic section so we can talk about JLL here.

Not hard to understand, but typical human behaviour. It happens on all kinds of forums.

I've said this before, sorry if I'm droning on ... but you guys should think about trying doing it all without rules or moderation. It'd be a lot more livelier and fun. I don't know what you're scared of! I'd love to visit a JLL free speech forum.

Try it for a couple of months. All this 'banning him for a week' and 'he's had a warning' is bollocks. I left school many years ago, anyone who tells me to behave these days can f**k off.

Seriously Ian, think about it. Dump the rules and dump the trolls. That's all you need to do. Rules are for fools. X

I've seen unmoderated forums, they're a great place to buy cheap viagra or find Russian brides but not much use for anything else!

Nothing stopping you doing it....
I think I try to strike a balance. You got to have some rules otherwise everyone will post anything anywhere and all the threads will go off topic......
I will split it off now
All the best,
Ian
