You're lucky Niek's not on here anymore!

I agree though, Jerry's band haven't sounded more than mediocre for a long time. Compare them to 1983 or 1985 or 1991. Although I wouldn't like to see Kenny leave, I think it would do Jerry good to have some new, younger musicians with him.

For the few shows a year Lewis plays now, it would make no difference changing band members. They're all old duffers now and have been together a long time.

Jerry's only playing few shows these days, so he might be a bit out of practice. But the drive is still there and he seems to enjoy himself. Certainly he is not making an embarrassment of himself yet as did Little Richard and Chuck Berry playing what were probably their final shows.

I've been amazed that Robert is still with Jerry after all this time. We all agree that he's one of Jerry's weakest drummers. Given Jerry's legendary lack of patience with band members(especially drummers) how Robert is still around is beyond me.

I think Jerry likes him because he plays very basic and simple (the very thing that Jerry would've been critical of in earlier years). Back in 2001 at the 66th Birthday Show Jimmy Van Eaton guested on a couple of songs, and when he played a shuffle beat in WLSGO (just like he did on the record) Jerry didn't seem to like it much and couldn't wait to get Robert back on stage.

How can it be that the whole show is here in 40 minutes
52 minutes including the Memphis Beats"
Wolfgang, you should put the song "What I say" on here and not when he's leaving the stage after that song.
Just a friendly advise in case you get mad (again)

It's "What'd I Say", NOT "What I say". Get it right!

It's about time you look at your own mistake and put that song in your post and not Jerry leaving the stage

I wonder when the next show will be announced? Kinda strange to not at least have another show or two lined up I think. Maybe he'll work hard in the latter part of the year? One can hope anyway
