Sorry Peter didn't mean to cause offence :)
I look forward to seeing everyone, if I can find my glasses :)

Martin.

Tickets arrived! Is this really happening? I hope it all goes smoothly. I think this will be an emotional gig somehow.

I'm seeing it as a farewell to all the 50s rock & roll greats, not just Jerry.

No nobody get's drunk at my local. especially me... I think he may have been looking in the wrong place cause as you say there are some left. He wanted two of the expensive tickets. I will point him in the right direction.

Buy a couple of cheap tickets and then sell them to him at a big profit, telling him that they're highly sought after because it's a sell-out. I would!

From Graham Knight
Publicity continues to appear suggesting that Jerry Lee Lewis is to attend a "Intimate dinner" at Canary Wharf, London on May 8th. Ticket prices as high as £500 have been mentioned.
I am shocked to hear that some fans who are not on the Internet have actually sent money.
This saga has been going on for a few days now and fans should be aware that Jerry is only doing two shows - at London Palladium on September 6th and at Glasgow SECC on September 10th. No others!
I have forwarded all the stories about this so-called "intimate dinner" to Jerry's management JW Whitten and Greg Ericson and they know nothing about this dinner.
Jw Whitten has looked after Jerry for 40 years and he wrote this message earlier today:
Hi Graham. Thanks for the info things like this are what hurts Jerry's reputation when he has no plans to attend this thing. Thanks J W

Then he should deny his appearance through official channels and sue the person who puts on this event. Simple as that.

I assume we are talking September 8th (not May 8th).

I too was puzzled about this date... unless we're talking about 2016 and a different "promoter"? Maybe someone can ask Graham for clarification.

I agree, Jerry (and his people) should deny this via his website etc.

£500... and that doesn't even include dinner and drinks!

Maybe some of her "friends" can also ask Linda Gail about this?
