Thank you to everybody on here for all the reports, pics, vids etc....great stuff.
I will post some stuff later cause I'm simply miss the time to sort it all out yet....in addition I'm on some sight seeing trips between the shows and just arrived today in Scotland.
Here comes at first a Drinkin' Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee video from the Palladium show....unfortunately only available on FB because I can not connect Youtube/Vimeo at the moment.

It was a really memorable day in London....meeting with the fans & friends and gettings in touch with these great people....and a wonderful and well organized show.

Thank you and speak later,
Thomas

Great, but you need to use the correct aspect ratio. You've spoiled some fantastic photos by squashing them.

Regarding You Win Again:

Jerry's SUN & SMASH cuts + all early performances of the song were in "F"; from about 1972 onwards up until just a few years ago he nearly always performed it in "G"; then during the past few years he's started performing it in "F" again so that he can reach the high notes easier. For some reason he performed it in "G" here (and sung badly off-key because it was too high for him), so it's understandable that the band didn't know what key Jerry was attempting to play it in (the piano is in "G" but the singing is so flat at times it's closer to "F"!). A bit technical for non-musicians perhaps, but hopefully this explains things a little.

She's good at fakin' it...

Linda can be very nice sometimes, but she's also probably the most insecure person I've ever met.

No, I mean emotionally. She craves attention and praise, and doesn't like anyone else to get it more than her - with the notable exception of her brother. This even extends to her more talented older daughter Mary Jean, who she refuses to allow to sing lead vocals or play piano on any live concerts or albums (she's ok with Annie, but her mediocre talents aren't a threat to anyone).

She Even Woke Me Up To Say Goodbye

Not an easy song to sing, though he sounds pretty good on it. Something goes wrong after the solo but that's because the bass player makes a mistake (for the musicians, after the solo the song starts on the one again and than goes up to the four, but here the bass player already walks up to the four and quickly recovers but since Jerry starts to sing during that that part he has to decide to go to the four as well or stay or stay on the one). Have to say he fixes it pretty good.

I stopped viewing it after seeing (or rather hearing) the first 15 seconds of him struggling to sing in tune... :?

I wonder why this happens so often now, when it was relatively rare just a few years ago (with the occasional notable exception such as WLSGO in Mannheim in 2008)? Is he just out of practice or has his hearing gone?
