True!

Judging from the short clips I thought he had some problems hearing himself as he's singing really off key during Down The Line and most part of You Win Again.

Have you got a link??

I can only find RIAA sales for USA, where incredibly Garth Brooks has sold more than Elvis Presley (Garth Brooks means as much in the UK as our own best seller Cliff Richard means to the USA)...

None of this has much to do with last nights show, but I'm afraid the old stars are being overtaken now in terms of sales; promotion & distribution has got so much better for one thing, but also I doubt people like Fats & Brenda Lee are still selling many records; the likes of Elton John, Michael Jackson ,Billy Joel etc have had long careers and are still selling well to this day. Our favourites are bound to get left behind, it seems to me. I did read once some time ago, Fats was the biggest selling artist in non English speaking countries so he certainly had his moment.

Let's hope Kenny is that straightforward to Jerry that he can tell him that they need to rehearse..

The backstage photo with fans is from a "meet and greet" that Jerry did (the big guy with the black beard mentioned it on Facebook).

Do you know if there's an organised 'meet and greet' package involved with these shows where you can pay top money and get your picture taken with JLL?

Not that I'd be a customer for that sort of thing.

I was wondering the same thing. The fact that there were only about a dozen people makes me suspect there was. Jerry only seems to have posed for a quick group photo, unlike Chubby Checker.

That photo is Jerry with the staff working at the venue (it's re-appeared on FB). So he's not doing the celeb 'meet & greet' thing. I'm a little glad. People who've waited at stage doors over the years are the ones that earn the right for a quick 'howdy' with the Killer, not people with the fattest wallet.
I don't much care for the way live pop music's going, with these high ticket prices and 'meet & greet' packages. It's all very corporate and very un-rock & roll.

That's good. I agree, these things are very wrong.
