Many thanks to my friend Dirk Tschirner!
This video and the pics are really rare pieces of Killer history and part of his own private Killer-Collection. He once more gave parts of his stuff to me for editing and on this way to the fan community around the globe!
What a generous gesture!

Amazing indeed! Thanks for sharing!

I personally would've overdubbed some live music onto it, perhaps a fast song from the Memphis '61 audio such as 'Let's Talk About Us' or 'Break Up'? 8)

The final show Carl Perkins played while on Sun Records was 3 shows at the State Theatre at Niagara Falls, New York, on December 28, 1957. His Sun contract expired several days later in early January, 1958.

Can anyone read lips and tell what he might be singing?

There doesn't seem to be many "stops" in the song / songs (so not GBOF, Breathless, Mean Woman Blues, Down The Line), and it looks like a slow / calm bit near the end of the clip... so I'm guessing WLSGO.

I think too most of the sequences comes from Shakin', pretty sure....but it's hard to say if it's only from one song (at least to me) cause the whole film is put together from a number of single sequences.

What do you think about a lil overdubbing....I know, not really perfect

No credit to me for it please...another friend, Hannes Strauss, got the idea and did the edit.

I notice that the audio is running at the correct pitch (adjusted by me?)... on the Stompertime CD it's running too slow, making him sound at least a decade older!

Great stuff Thomas. Incredibly rare! Loved it with the imaginable audio added.

Anyone on FB said cause he can read lips and in the first part of the vid he would sing HSC...anyway, what ever he is singing, if anyone has the knowledge of and can cut and mix the sequences to 'new video clip incl. proper sound bits' so please feel free to do it....would be great see some variations.

I guess it's possible he's singing "Boppin' at the high school hop", but that wouldn't look much different to "Shake it baby shake it"... try it youself by singing (or miming) those lines into a mirror.

Is it the only song on the Stomper Time Cd with incorrect pitch? The sound quality is better in the Video.
