It's also removed from BB Kings club website (I thought you referred to jerryleelewis.com). A pitty, nice venue and usually good reviews on Jerry.

Scott just posted on facebook that there's an unconfirmed rumour that Jerry will be headlining Glastonbury in 2015 haha. Can not imagine they're gonna put Jerry as headliner, even though he's in better shape now, the entertainment level of his show for a broader audiance than fans and real rock n roll or blues fanatics, is quite low if you compare this to other acts. So I can not imagine him closing such a big festival. Unless they're gonna work out a great light show, have some interesting guest musicians and a bigger backing band with backing vocals etc. Bit like Last Man Standing Live, in that case I think it would work.

I agree. Even at those "Legends Shows" from 1998-2000 he didn't come across well to larger audiences, unlike Little Richard and (sometimes) Chuck Berry.

Another problem is that most of the songs he performs are unknown to a general audience. It wouldn't be so bad if he did a "greatest hits" show that included High School Confidential, Breathless, What'd I Say and Chantilly Lace.

this show remains on the BBK website, although you have to search ,it's not on the main page (don't know if it was before ?) though it's not shown on the JLL site, whereas the 3 TBC UK dates are. It's all a bit up in the air at the moment isn't it. We'll have to wait n see. I heard a separate rumour about Glastonbury where the suggestion was that Jerry would indeed be joined by guests , Robert Plant for one, but all still TBC.
I see the bookies have Kate Bush headlining G/Bury in 2015 , but they'e also taking bets she won't complete her comeback gig at all (later this year).....so they're no wiser than us :)

Martin.
