1) A Rockabilly Medley: (Matchbox - Whole Lotta Shakin - Blue Sedue Shoes)

2) A Gospel Medley: (I'll Fly Away - I Saw The Light - Daddy Sang Bass - Will The Circle Be Unbroken)

It's funny that in these gigs Jerry stole the complete show when he appears...

Jerry played a full set the day after in Rotterdam. It was broadcast on radio and included a great version of "Rita May".

Yes, there´s even a thread on here where you can download a lossy quality mp3 sample of Rita May. But you have to search for it yourself, i think the thread was named Rita or Rita May.

Unfortunately they only broadcast the first 50 minutes of the show, ommiting the "hits" & the jamming with Carl Perkins.

'Number One Lovin' Man' is also fantastic on this show, as is the 7 minute version of 'A Picture From Life's Other Side'.

Oh I just love this concert!
My favourite song is Rita May, too. The ending of the song is a little weird ;-)
Number one lovin man is also great.

Both songs in a very high speed:)

After Rita May Jerry starts a very very fast version of Great balls of fire, but he only plays the first few notes.

And I have to say: I like the sound of that recording very much.
You can´t hear Jerrys piano playing too well (not as well as on other recordings), but you can "hear" the largness of the AHOY arena on it if you know what I mean.
You can imagine the atmosphere listening to this recording!

Great!!

I really like this tour myself. I was too young at the time. But i was aware of it, and eagerly read the newspaper after Jerry had been in Stockholm. I saved the article of course.

It says.. Jerry, routined, tired to death, uninspired, but still one of the GREATEST!

I recall a review of the Wembley '81 show calling him "senile" (& he was the same age at the time that I am now!).
