This is a tough question.

Right now I love "Find it where I can" best. Can't get this song out of my head. Me and my band are doing a full-throttle-boogie-metal-cover of this ;)
So Long, W.Skinner

It´s labeled as "I´ll Find It Where I can" on the "Keeps Rockin" album.
I like it myself, also girls seems to like it more than any other song with Jerry. Can you get us a recording of this boogie metal version you do. It ought to be pretty interesting!

My favourite version of 'I'll Find It Where I Can' is from Frankfurt '82 where he songs "If I can't find it in your drawers baby, I'm gonna damn sure find it where I can!" 8)

I think almost everything on those Country Music Hall Of Fame albums was great.

Andrew, what's your new avatar?

Wow, yes! Beleive it or not Peter, I have played Smash Bear Family Disc 5 on my way to work so often, that I never really moved on to the other discs, until recently. Now I'm playing Disc 6 daily which is easily as good... Jackson, Sweet Thang, He'll Have To Go, Wine Me Up, Since I Met you Baby, Workin' Man Blues and a great-great version of Brown Eyed Handsome Man done with Sun Era fervor. Great stuff.

But my favorite from that CD (thus my current country fave) has to be, "When the Grass Grows Over Me".

Everything about it is country perfection. The moan in his voice, his spot on perfect recitation - where he not only delays behind the background singers at times, he also draws a breath and then delivers the spoken word with palpable regret - only to finish the finshes the final verses with a soaring hard edge countrty honk vocal. Truly fantastic!

I can't find a best country song from the killer. I like all his country songs... it's impossible for me to say one.

I would add:

-Love Game
-You've still got a place in my heart (my wife love this and she's not a Jerrys fan)
-She Even Woke me up to say goodbye: I prefer the live versions on Ed Sullivan Show and Music Scene
-Since I met you Baby
-Lord, I ve tried everything but you : I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Have I got a song for you (the same I said on "got a place in my heart song")
-I Know What It Means (one of the best Sun's songs

Best Country Song? I can't decide between these gems:

1) She Even Woke Me Up
2) Twilight
3) Would You Take Another Chance on Me
4) Middle Age Crazy
5) More To Love Than This

I Think The best country song from Jerry Lee Lewis is "All night long" from the "another place, another time" album :)

And there´s also a lot of good countrysongs in LMS I think. L especially like The pilgrim and Twilight and A couple of more years. Lost highway and Evening gown is also really good! Evening gown is a perfect song for Jerry Lee I think to bad he doesn´t plays it in concerts
