Ok,not exactly new stuff, but it´s great to have new vinyl release, even if it´s of old stuff. But hey,it´s the greatest rock´n roll record in the world.

180gram vinyl? What is this? Is it a higher quality form of vinyl?
If it's good enough for me,
It should be good enough for you.

Yes.

I believe all early albums (50s, 60s) weighed this much, though later they were more flimsy. Perhaps one of the vinyl experts here can confirm?

This re-ish also comes with a fold-out map of the Reeperbahn. Great touch.

Does it include 'Down The Line'?

I'm a rollin' stone all alone and lost
For a life of sin I have paid the cost

Why don't these people release box sets of his demos? I know some must exist because I have seen them on Peter's trade list! Why not release all the demos in pristine quality. I would prefer that to re-issues.

Good for the fans that want a fresh vinyl to listen to though, I guess.

Because they don't have the rights? Because they don't know where to find them? Because they only exist in bad quality?

It's about time everything that was officially released on vinyl is reissued on CD though, particularly original albums such as Live At The International, When Two Worlds Collide, Killer Country, My Fingers Do The Talkin', I Am What I Am, Four Legends....

Copies of demos that fans have generally are not nearly as good as official ones, though that can vary from artist to artist. I have no idea if it applies to JLL though.

I suspect that many of Jerry's demos have been lost, broken or stolen over the years. The only reason we still have the 1951 demo is because Cecil had it (& mislaid it for decades).

Would this be true of even later albums from the 70's or 80's? Or would he even always necessarily make demos?
