One request this time: can we label on here what the clip is (source, year) from now on? You in particular Ian rarely do this, & for those with slow connections it's a real pain clicking on links only to see that it's things I've already seen. Thanks! :D

Here's myself interviewing Graham Knight about the 1964 Granada TV show, filmed in Blackpool on 28th February 2004:

Personally I think Ian's idea was right because lots of not working youtube links inside the old thread.
Ok, sad is that we lost some of the infos about the clips, but for getting an overview of posted clips is directly youtube the better way and some of the infos are inside there.
To start a new thread is better for us to get impressions what is new and current there and I presume that is it what Ian's motive was for that.
Just my own view.

I didn't see the point of deleting the old thread either. Yes, many links were no longer working, but it would've perhaps been better to delete most of the thread & keep the last few pages.

...well, but the selection would really be a lot of working and who wants to decide what exactly will be deleted and what not. So it could be that this is the easier way.

Most of the "info" on YouTUbe is notoriously bad, & also some people don't put too much info on their on purpose (my old account got deleted because I mentioned that a song was an Austin City Limits outtake; if I hadn't had put that info then the account would still be there).

Anyway, who's going to start going through YouTube & posting lots of new links on here (please put some info on here though so that we don't have to click every link!).

Yes it was an amazing version (I was there!), what a crime that it wasn't included on the telecast / official VHS tape!

I did have the entire radio broadcast, but I prefer the mix & superior sound quality of the telecast (not the VHS tape, which had a different mix from the telecast), so I only kept the three "outtakes".

but I do not understand why the quality of vhs must be so low then the sound I like is not bad
