R.I.P. CHUCK BERRY!!!

Chuck Berry's album covers have often looked cheap to me. For this one, I'd have liked to have seen some professional 80's or 90's studio pictures, there are some floating around. The cover they're using is rubbish. Shame, if it's coming out on vinyl.

After School Session was the best Berry LP cover. Utter class.

There's a re-issue of Rock It that looks to be a more modern publicity shot. Something like this would be much more suitable.

I agree this publicity shot would be more suitable for "Chuck", but not for "Rock It". :?

Sometimes you have to wonder, who picks the cover shots or even the songs that appear on an album. There are also several instances where the outtakes are far superior to the album tracks.

That's right. Putting a picture of Chuck when he's older than the recording, is worse than putting a younger picture on!

I'll be getting the vinyl of 'Chuck', but it's a shame the cover looks like something a school-kid could have knocked up in five minutes with a free photo-edit kit, (of course, it may be it's not the proper cover, fingers crossed!)

Here's one of my favourite Chuck Berry album covers (and with a photo from around the same time as the contents!):

I heard it on radio 2 at my parent's the other day. I wonder if it'll get any chart action?

Amazing, "here's the new single from Chuck Berry" - in 2017!

The album is now going to be released on June 9th, so one week earlier than originally planned.

There are even worse Chuck Berry album covers. Can you imagine how disappointed I was when I finally found out that the "Sweet little rock'n'roller" looked like this????

In this case I'd prefer the cover of the reissue (even though this picture has also been used several times before).
