One of Jerry's biggest influences in the 1968-1969 "country comeback" era. Here's one of his best songs (covered by both Jerry Lee Lewis and Gene Vincent):

R.I.P. Merle!

I was lucky to see he and Willie recently along with my kids. He was one of the greatest in many ways. I'm glad he and Jerry did their last duet. And his and willie's the worlds goin to pot is a classisc forever.

Thanks Pete for the Fugitive. One of my favorites. Also wish someone would up load "The World's Goin to Pot". I don't know how to do it. Of course Merle and Jerry probably did more together back when. I always enjoyed Jerry's versions fo Merles songs.
