Listening to Fairport Convention, who I saw for the first time last night. Amazing musicians!

Great stuff! I'm currently listening to Roy Orbison's album "A love so beautiful" which features his vocal tracks backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Doesn't sound so much different to me - 'cause Roy used strings etc. also in his original recordings. Anyway I thought: How great his voice is! It sounds like it's coming straight from heaven - like an angel singing! His vocal range was immense - maybe he was the best vocalist ever!
