I posted this earlier on my Facebook page and in some groups, but all of you may not run around there.

Happy Birthday Jerry Lee Lewis who turns 81 today! Here is a very rare photo that i haven't seen on the web before without a photoshopped version, and i have spent a lot time searching believe me. There is a photoshop of this with Buddy Holly on stage with Jerry, but that one is a fake one. Jerry seems to have the Teddyboy look and Russel P.Smith behind the drums. Probably from 23rd February, Connie Mack Stadium, West Palm Beach, Florida, 1958) as the Buddy Holly photos from that day has the same background as this. I have seen the originals photos with Buddy and there is 2 different drummers on the originals from each band! Notice the text on the drummer set. Bill Haley (He also was on that Alan Freed Big Beat Tour), the text is also on Buddy Holly photos) So i guess the photos were taken at the same show according to the palms and the text. The fake: http://65.media.tumblr.com/04e2fdc983b7 ... 1_1280.jpg (I would like to thank Bailbath for sharing this on Facebook before, i had never seen it then and i later got over the full photo, as least i think if it ain't cropped)

This is a find by my friend Thierry Budin, some real nice candid photos of Jerry Lee Lewis with Barry Bergman from January 1958 (If the Camera had the right date): http://www.barrybergman.com/#!untitled/ ... image_21qt

Yes on The Big Gold Record Stars in person. 2 shows per night The tours duration 6 days. Buddy Holly & The Crickets - Jerry Lee Lewis - The Royal Teens - The Everly Brothers - Bill Haley & The Comets - Jimmie Rodger (Who was booked but did not appear or make it) This very strange photo should be from the Second show, but i am very doubtful if it can be an original, to me the background looks modified and the bass on stage looks very drawn: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Polaro ... 7675.l2557 (The drummer is Russel Smith and not Bill Haley's as the auction states)

A little better copy of it:

I don't think he has got any sense for fashion. He is being dressed by Judith. In the past Phoebe used to do that job.

Clown clothes from the 1970s. Most people wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing them trousers.

This is great! Assuming the date is correct, it's amazing to think that Kenny was there before Jerry!
